Mark Butler is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland, The Institute of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Institute of Internal Auditors. He has more than 15 years experience in practice.
As a partner in the firm for more than 8 years, he has a wide ranging client portfolio and specialises in the following service areas:

- Internal Control Review and Systems Implementation
- Mergers & Acquisitions
- Business Valuations
- Corporate Restructuring
- Internal Audit
- Forensic Accounting
Mark advises a broad spectrum of clients but he has particular specialism in a number of sectors including Food & General Manufacturing, Media, Nursing Homes, Hotel & Leisure and Renewable Energy sectors.
He has advised a number of high achieving entrepreneurs in the start up phase of their business in providing them with with the financial and compliance advice required to grow their businesses.
He has also been involved in assisting a number of clients to internationalise and has built up a network of fellow advisors across Europe.
Mark is currently a member of the SME / SMP Committee with the CPA and Chairman of the newly formed CPA Large / Medium Practice Network Group. He is a former member of the CPA Education and Training Committee which was responsible for developing the current Syllabus for the CPA professional exams. He was also previously a member of the CCABI Business Law Committee.
An avid sportsman, Mark is a member of Wicklow Triathlon Club and of County Wicklow Lawn Tennis Club. He also coaches at juvenile level in Bray Emmets GAA club.
