New Household Charge
The Household Charge is an annual charge introduced by the Local Government (Household Charge) Act 2011 which is payable by owners of residential property. The charge is €100 and generally should be paid by the 31st of March 2012.
This is an interim measure before the introduction of a more comprehensive property tax.
